I—Introduction

Wookmama exists because we’re a little obsessed with natural materials handled with real design intent. That obsession grew into a creative platform celebrating the designers and makers behind it. We curate their work on Instagram, occasionally produce documentaries, and publish books.
We’re an independent family business, doing the thing we love: Julien Derreveaux and Zari Melendez, Franco-Puertorican parents of two, living in a quiet village in Northern France. Julien is an award-winning graphic designer and artist (visit julienderreveaux.co), Zari is an architect, CG artist, and landscape designer. Together, we put our design backgrounds to work on something that’s true to our heart.
