Graphic explorations for the 2021 Chinese New Year special edition of Biotherm Life Plankton packaging. For the celebration of the 2021 Chinese New Year, L’Oréal commissioned AKQA with a special edition packaging for the Chinese market. As part of a global branding work for Biotherm from the agency, I was tasked to do a thorough graphic exploration using themes related to the 2021 new year, the year of the ox but we also explored waterlilies, fireworks, dragon, red and gold as well as maintaining the ocean and water connection with the overarching brand.
